Catalina Mosquera, MD joined South Florida Surgical Oncology in October, 2021. She received her medical degree at Universidad del Cauca located in the city of Popayan, capital of Cauca, in Colombia in May, 2008. Her post graduate training includes a Preliminary General Surgery internship at Berkshire Medical Center, July 2012- June 2013. General Surgery Resident at East Carolina University, July 2013 – June 2019, Research fellow in Surgical Oncology at East Carolina University, July 2015 – June 2016. Surgical Oncology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, August 2019-July 2021. She loves to travel and has a special interest in volunteerism.
