Dr. David Johnson joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2017. A graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN, Dr. Johnson completed his internship in General Surgery in 2012 and Diagnostic Radiology in 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in 2017 in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as well.
His interests include minimally invasive image-guided procedures to treat cancers of the liver, kidneys, and lungs, including chemoembolization, Y90 radioembolization, and percutaneous ablation. In addition, he also has a special focus on uterine artery embolizations to treat uterine fibroids in women, prostate artery embolizations to treat enlarged prostates in men, and sclerotherapy treatments for venous malformations in children.
Dr. Johnson is board certified in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, Florida Medical Association, and Lee County Medical Society.
